Adekan (1991, Kadıköy) began his artistic practice with graffiti and street art, eventually evolving it into a figurative and conceptual language. Gebze’s industrial urban fabric shapes the artist’s interest in the relationship between space and the individual. In his work, he treats walls not as passive surfaces but as active spaces that interact with their surroundings. His works establish a layered dialogue on space, identity, and belonging by transforming the tension between nature and the city, as well as personal experiences, into public narratives.
