Ecemnaz Dalmaz

Ecemnaz Dalmaz (1992, Istanbul) began her education at the Istanbul Fashion Academy and completed it in the Journalism Department at Istanbul Aydın University. In her paintings, she intertwines personal narratives with the social and political traces of the region where she lives. Working with various techniques on canvas and fabric, the artist has recently incorporated handmade tufting into her practice. With her figurative narrative and layered visual language, her works create powerful emotional and intellectual encounters.
