Emine Akbucak

Emine Akbucak is a filmmaker and photographer. After many years working in the film industry, she turned her focus to photography while living in Paris. She has presented solo exhibitions featuring her Reflections and Dioptrics series, and directed the short film Eclipse as well as the documentary My Sister’s Wedding. Centered around themes of water and light, her photographic works invite viewers into a visual journey through a poetic and sensory language.
