Ferhat Özgür

Ferhat Özgür (b. 1965, Ankara) is a contemporary artist based in Istanbul. In his work, he develops a critical approach to social structure, identity, and everyday life. The artist has been featured in international museums and biennials, and his work has been exhibited at major institutions such as MoMA PS1, the Centre Pompidou, and Istanbul Modern. Known for his interdisciplinary works, Özgür’s pieces establish a strong intellectual connection with the viewer, infusing living spaces with contemporary and conceptual depth. The artist is a member of AICA.
