Ferhat Özgür

Ferhat Özgür (1965, Ankara) is a contemporary artist based in Istanbul. His work develops a critical perspective on social structures, identity, and everyday life. Exhibited at major international museums and biennials, his works have been presented at institutions such as MoMA PS1, the Centre Pompidou, and Istanbul Modern. Known for his interdisciplinary practice, Özgür creates works that establish a strong intellectual dialogue with viewers while bringing a contemporary and conceptual depth to living spaces. He is a member of AICA (International Association of Art Critics).
