Gül Ilgaz

Gül Ilgaz (1962, Istanbul) is an artist based in Istanbul who creates works in the fields of photography, video, and installation. She graduated from the Department of Painting at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. Her works have been featured in international exhibitions, including the Turkish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. In her work, she explores the concepts of memory, time, and existence. Her works offer viewers a poetic and contemplative experience, lending a contemporary depth to living spaces.
