Gül Ilgaz

Gül Ilgaz (1962, Istanbul) is an artist based in Istanbul whose practice spans photography, video, and installation. She graduated from the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Her works have been featured in international exhibitions, including the Turkish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. Exploring themes of memory, time, and existence, Ilgaz creates works that offer viewers a poetic and contemplative experience while bringing a contemporary sense of depth to living spaces.
