Gülfidan Özmen

Gülfidan Özmen (1978, Istanbul) completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in the Department of Ceramics and Glass at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Her practice explores archaeological traces, primitive architecture, and the guiding aesthetics of nature. Bringing together paper, glass, ceramics, and organic materials, she creates richly layered surfaces. Through a contemporary interpretation of natural and historical references, her works offer a distinctive sensory depth, bringing a unique and evocative presence to living spaces.
