Sergül Acar

Sergül Acar (1996, Ankara) earned a double major in painting and sculpture at Kocaeli University and completed her master’s degree at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. Influenced by her experience in art direction, she has developed a theatrical and dramatic visual language in her work. In her figurative compositions, she explores the tension between memory, emotion, and reality. Her works offer viewers a profound and compelling experience through the use of strong lighting and a sense of the stage.
