Suzan Batu

Suzan Batu studied translation at the University of Graz after graduating from the Austrian High School, and later completed her art education at the California College of the Arts and Brooklyn College. She lived and worked in New York for many years, exhibiting internationally. Her practice centers on painting and textile-based works, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and performative narratives. Through their layered structure, her works offer viewers a powerful and distinctive experience while bringing character and depth to living spaces.
