MoHA (Museum of House Art) is the first subscription platform in Turkey where you can rent and purchase artworks. Its founding manifesto is rooted in accessibility to art and sustainability in the art economy. It offers tailored solutions for everyone, from artists to art lovers, and from collectors to institutions.
Art lovers can rent artworks at affordable prices through MoHA's monthly subscription plans. Delivery and installation are handled by MoHA. Artworks can be purchased or exchanged if desired. Artists and collectors can rent or sell their works on the platform. Businesses can transform their spaces with the help of art consultants.

Most of the artworks at MoHA are also available for rent. The rental model is an ideal option for art lovers who want to regularly renew their collections or for those who want to experience the artwork before purchasing it. It also offers a flexible payment alternative for those who do not want to spend their budget all at once. In line with our principle of "access to art," we not only offer a rental option but have also developed affordable prices, short commitment periods, and personalized flexible plans. Moreover, the artwork you choose is delivered to you ready to hang.
Most works offer both options. Some works may only be for rent or only for sale. You can see the current status on the work's page. If a work you like is not currently available, you can request a notification by contacting us at info@museumofhouseart.com.
The minimum rental period at MoHA is 3 months. Options are offered for 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, and the price does not change during the rental period. At the end of the rental period, depending on the condition of the artwork, you can choose to extend the rental, purchase, or return the artwork. If the artwork is not returned at the end of the rental period, a daily rental fee will be charged for each day of delay.
At MoHA, the rental fee for each artwork is calculated individually based on its sales price. The rental fee ranges from 3% to 10% of the sales price, depending on the value of the artwork. The longer the rental period, the more advantageous the rate becomes; in other words, you can acquire artwork at more affordable prices with long-term rentals.
Rent Plus is a system that awards you points every time you rent. You can use the accumulated points during your rental period when you want to purchase the artwork you have rented. The number of points varies according to the rental period and is deducted from the sales price. You can think of it like buying a house you've been renting. Normally, the rent you pay is not deducted from the sales price. However, at MoHA, the opposite is true: the rent you pay doesn't go to waste; a portion of it accumulates and is deducted from the purchase price of the artwork.
To rent an artwork, after adding the piece you like to your cart, you need to create a MoHa membership account. For us to evaluate your rental request, your identity information must be complete. Your information will be checked and approved by an automated identity verification system.
After creating your membership, you will be directed to the payment step. At this stage, only 1 month's rental fee will be collected.
After you make your payment, you will receive a Findeks approval SMS on your phone. If you approve this SMS, we will review your rental request within 24 hours.
As soon as your rental request is approved, we will begin working to deliver the artwork to you as soon as possible. The artwork will be delivered to your home by special courier within x business days. Your rental period begins on the date you receive the product. For unapproved rental requests, the first month's rent paid will be 100% refunded within 24 hours. Depending on your bank, your refund will be reflected on your card within 3-5 business days.
There could be several reasons for this.
- The credentials shared during registration are not accurate or valid.
- The credentials do not match the name on the debit or credit card used for payment.
- The Findeks viewing SMS was not approved for X hours.
- The Findeks score and other criteria are insufficient for the desired rental product.
Throughout all these processes, our Customer Service team will communicate via email to provide information and assist with completing any missing details.
If the rental request is not approved, we will notify you by email and issue a 100% refund within 24 hours. The refund will be credited to your account within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank.
When your rental period ends, we offer you 4 options:
- You can purchase the product you rented. If you chose a Plus subscription plan, the points you accumulated during the rental can be deducted from the sales price.
- You can return the product you rented and choose a new item from the MoHa collection.
- You can completely terminate your rental and return your item.
- If there is an option to extend the rental period for the product you rented, you can extend your rental period.
Our only request is that you inform us of your choice 2 weeks in advance. If you remain silent, we will assume that you have chosen to terminate your rental and return the item.
We're thrilled you're connecting with your rented artwork! If the artwork has a purchase option, you can buy it anytime. You can deduct the points you accumulated during the rental from the purchase price.
This is one of the best parts of renting! If you're not completely happy with the artwork you've rented, you can exchange it once during a 6-month rental period, and twice during a 12-month rental period. The right to exchange can be exercised after the first 3 months, with 2 weeks' prior notice. Exchanges are made from the category of artworks covered by your subscription plan. You won't have to pay any extra fees, other than shipping costs, to exchange your artwork during your rental period.

By taking the online style test, you can get artwork recommendations that suit your taste, and by choosing a suitable time slot from the calendar, you can schedule 30-minute online art consultancy sessions.
Additionally, you can add an on-site assessment and consultancy service with your chosen artwork to your cart, ensuring that the piece is displayed on the most suitable wall, with the right lighting and at the correct height, with expert support.

The selected artwork is delivered ready to hang. If desired, framing and professional hanging services can easily be added to the cart.

Of course, we're interested in every artwork. Click here to upload an image of your piece to the system, and our relevant teams will review it and get back to you.
We kindly ask that you return the artwork in the same condition you received it. While it's with you, it's a valuable possession of someone else, so please take good care of it. And please, do not make any alterations. Of course, if you purchase it, that changes things – the artwork is then yours. It's the perfect time to take advantage of the additional services we offer, including choosing your frame!
The artwork you liked may have been sold or rented. Sold artworks are completely removed from MoHA. Rented artworks, however, remain visible but cannot be re-rented or purchased until the rental period ends.

At MoHA, we work with many artists from different disciplines and at various stages of their careers. Some are just starting out, while others are experienced names.
Diversity, inclusivity, and equality in artist selection are very important to us. We particularly prioritize giving a voice to artists who are marginalized in Turkey due to their ethnic identity, sexual orientation, religion, or gender.
All selections are made in collaboration with expert academics and art consultants. This means that every work you see at MoHA carries not only aesthetic value but also meaning.
You must use the artworks in accordance with your membership agreement and maintenance guide. But don't worry – as long as you adhere to these, maintaining the artworks is extremely easy!
If an artwork is damaged in any way, please inform us immediately. Remember, these artworks do not belong to us; they are valuable pieces owned by the artist or collector. We do not want to upset their owners. If necessary, our team will examine the damage to the artwork and inform you about the costs. All details regarding this process are already clearly stated in your contract.
Some key notes from the Maintenance Guide:
- Do not expose the artwork to direct sunlight.
- Do not keep it in high-humidity environments (such as bathrooms or kitchens).
- Dust it lightly once a month with a dry, soft cloth.
- Do not interfere with its frame or surface.
- If you need to move it, please inform us, and we will plan together how to package it.

Currently, we only ship within Istanbul. Works are delivered directly to the address you specify—your home or workplace—via special courier or secure cargo, depending on the item's condition. Returns are also handled by special courier or cargo in the same manner.
You can easily track the status of your order from your Account page. Furthermore, as the MoHA team, we also send you the necessary information via email.
After payment, the artwork will be delivered to your specified address within 3–5 business days. Your rental period only begins on the day you receive the artwork—meaning delivery delays will not affect the rental duration.
Once your rental request is approved, an invoice for the first month is generated. In the following months, new invoices are typically issued around the same date as the first invoice.
All invoices are regularly sent to the email address you provided when you became a MoHA member. You will receive similar email notifications for purchases as well.
